Halfway to invisible and clutching at the branches of a sapling, the ghostly figure is back skirting the edge of the trees, walking back and forth as he quietly explores the forest floor.  There are all sorts of interesting things, which is why the shady thing stops occasionally to peer underneath rocks and the like.

There is a boy in the bar, at a table in the middle of the room. There's a rat sitting in front of him and the two of them are deep in what looks like intent conversation.

He's got a tricky problem to figure out, if it can be done.

So, yesterday was traumatizing enough that he's sort of hiding again, half-invisible and behind a tree.  Hoping very sincerely that the police aren't out to get him, which he's still half-convinced they are.

The most visible part of him is the vivid red blood, strikingly coloured where the rest of him tends to wash out.

Hektor's father can be an exacting man, sometimes; he caught sight of the boy's letters yesterday, and they were not at all to his liking. Phoitios received quite a lecture for that, and since no man much cares for that sort of thing once he is grown, he turned around and passed it on to his young charge.
